USA Swimming’s executive director Chuck Wielgus received recognition Thursday at the U.S. Aquatic Sports Convention for his vision and leadership in the area of diversity and inclusion in the sport of swimming. An award was presented to Wielgus by USA Swimming’s longtime community-based program partners, Nadar Por Vida, which has flourished in the effort to touch the lives of Hispanic and at-risk youth in the Potomac Valley area.
